Terms & Conditions
Article 1: Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions govern all accommodation agreements and any related contracts entered into between Admiral’s Inn & Gunpowder Suites and the guest. Any matters not stipulated herein shall be governed by applicable laws and customs. Rules, usage guidelines, and any special agreements explicitly provided by the hotel shall form part of and may override these Terms where applicable.
Article 2: Application for an Accommodation Agreement
To book an accommodation, the guest must provide:
Full name and contact number
Date of stay and estimated time of arrival
Accommodation fees based on the agreed rate
Any other information requested by the hotel If a guest extends their stay, it will be considered a new agreement request.
Article 3: Establishment of the Accommodation Agreement
An agreement is established once the hotel confirms the application. A deposit must be paid by the stated deadline. If not received on time, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
Article 4: Special Agreements Not Requiring a Deposit
The hotel may offer exceptions to standard deposit requirements. In such cases, the agreement remains valid even without payment, provided the hotel has not communicated a deposit deadline.
Article 4-2: Request for Cooperation in Infection Control
Guests may be requested to comply with health and safety protocols in line with local regulations.
Article 5: Refusal of Accommodation Agreements
The hotel may refuse accommodation if:
The application violates these Terms
Rooms are fully booked
The guest is likely to disrupt order or public decency
The guest belongs to or is affiliated with organized crime
The guest poses a nuisance or health risk to others
The guest uses threats or unreasonable demands
Requests impose an unreasonable burden on hotel operations
Natural disasters or unavoidable issues prevent accommodation
The guest intends to profit by reselling the reservation
Article 5-2: Explanation of Refusal
Guests may request an explanation if their booking is declined.
Article 6: Guest’s Right to Terminate
Guests may cancel bookings. If the cancellation occurs within the penalty period, charges may apply unless waived by a special agreement.
Article 7: Hotel’s Right to Terminate
The hotel reserves the right to cancel reservations if a guest:
Violates laws or public morals
Belongs to antisocial groups
Becomes a nuisance or health risk
Fails to follow rules, threatens staff, or violates payment terms
Article 7-2: Explanation of Cancellation
Guests may request reasons for cancellation.
Article 8: Guest Registration
Upon check-in, guests must register their name, address, contact info, stay dates, and present ID. International guests must also provide passport details.
Article 9: Guestroom Hours
Rooms are available from 3 PM to 11 AM. Early check-in or late checkout may incur additional fees.
Article 10: Compliance with Hotel Rules
Guests must follow these Terms and the Hotel Rules and Regulations.
Article 11: Prohibited Acts
Guests must not:
Provide false info or use fake payment
Access hotel systems illegally
Damage property or engage in unlawful or antisocial conduct
Cause disturbances or profit from resale of rooms
Engage in other behavior deemed inappropriate by the hotel
Article 12: Hotel Operating Hours
Front desk, cashier, and entrance are open 24/7. Hours may change temporarily.
Article 13: Payment of Fees
Fees are payable at check-in in USD or via accepted payment methods. Guests who skip included services without prior notice are still charged.
Article 14: Hotel Liability
The hotel is liable for damages caused by its own fault but not for force majeure or guest negligence.
Article 15: When Rooms Cannot Be Provided
If rooms are unavailable, the hotel will try to secure alternative accommodations. Compensation may apply if no alternatives are found.
Article 16: Handling of Checked Items
Guests must declare valuables over US$500. The hotel is not liable for loss unless due to negligence and capped at US$500 if undeclared.
Article 17: Storing Luggage
With prior notice, the hotel can store luggage before check-in. Unclaimed items are disposed of within 3 months, valuables sent to the authorities.
Article 18: Housekeeping
Housekeeping is on request but will occur at least once every 6 days. Rooms may be entered at any time for safety or maintenance.
Article 19: Computer Networks
Guests use the hotel Wi-Fi at their own risk. The hotel is not responsible for data loss or connection issues.
Article 20: Parking Liability
Use of the hotel’s parking is at the guest’s own risk unless damage is due to hotel negligence.
Article 21: Guest Liability
Guests are responsible for damages caused by their negligence or misconduct, including repair or loss of income.
Article 22: Exemptions
The hotel is exempt from liability where exclusions are explicitly stated.
Article 23: Reporting to Authorities
If a guest poses risk to others or themselves, the hotel may contact emergency services or the police.
Article 24: Changes to the Agreement
Terms and Conditions may change without notice. Continued use of the hotel constitutes acceptance.
Article 25: Severability
If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remainder shall still apply.
Article 26: Preferred Language
In case of discrepancies, the English version of these Terms shall prevail.
Article 27: Good Faith Negotiation
Any unresolved issues will be addressed through mutual good faith negotiation.
Article 28: Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Antigua & Barbuda. Any legal matters shall be settled in the appropriate jurisdiction.
